CLEMENT ALEXANDER FINLEY FLAGLER - (1867-1922) - Army Engineer,
born in Georgia. Graduated from West Point (1889), instructor in
civil and military engineering at West Point (1894-95). On staff
of Major-General Wilson serving at Chickamanga Post, Georgia;
Charleston, S.C.; and Puerto Rico (1898). Engineering officer,
Department of the East (1900-02). On staff of General Funston at
Vera Cruz Expedition (1914). Commanded artillery, 3rd corps, in
Argonne Mouse; commanded 42nd (Rainbow) Division in Army of the
Rhine; commandant of Engineers School, Camp Humphreys, VA.
(1919); Departmet Engineer in Honolulu (1920).
