THOMAS HERBERT JACKSON - (1874-1937) - Army Engineer, born Westmeath, Ontario, Canana. Graduated at West Point 1899. Served in Philippines (1903-05), district engineer at San Francisco, California (1907-11). Various duties in France and finally chief engineer of American forces in France (1919). Division Engineer, San Francisco, California (1926-28) and elsewhere, then returned (1934-37). Decorations: DSM officer Legion of Honor (France), Commander Order of Leopold (Belgium).
